Jessica Saraga

is painter and print-maker whose work centres around figure, portrait and landscape studies. Her approach is sometimes representational, sometimes abstract, but invariably derived from studies in specific locations.  She is an active exhibiting member of the Drawing London Group and Surrey Figurative Artists as well as Croydon Art Society.

She enjoys many and various media, particularly oil, water-colour, ink and charcoal. Her print-making practice focuses on relief processes, especially lino cut and collagraph, and she likes to combine print-making processes with paint and collage.

She trained over a number of years in short courses at Wimbledon College of Art, the City Lit, and West Dean College. As well as being a practitioner, she lectures on art in adult education, to art societies, at Dulwich Picture Gallery and at the two London Tate galleries, where she is also a Guide for public tours.
