The Croydon Art Society is proud to have achieved:- 

Recognition by Her Majesty the Queen of our centenary.

Acknowledgement by His Royal Highness Prince Charles of the donation made by the Society to the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Appeal.

The donation of thousands of pounds to local and national charities.

The privilege of donating to the Borough ten paintings of local views on the occasion of the centenary of the granting of the Borough Charter.

Having the honour to have one member’s work on the front cover of the Borough Report, another’s reproduced and used as a gift for visiting dignitaries and also several members work being printed by the Borough in the form of postcards.

Presenting to the Burgomaster of Arnhem a painting of Croydon to mark the Borough’s strong links with that town.
