Typical evenings throughout the year:

• Demonstrations

  Demonstrations are frequently given by well known professional artists as well as by equally qualified members from within the Society. Subject matter and media are wide-ranging and are designed to cover all tastes.

• Talks and Slide Shows

  Many enjoyable evenings have been held over the years and as well as talks about famous artists there have been interesting talks and slide shows on many subjects to suit all tastes.

• Criticisms

  Members are encouraged to bring their work along on criticism evenings where a guest critic will give constructive comments.

• Practical Evenings

  Life models, portrait models, costume models and still life subjects are available for drawing and painting sessions. Though not a teaching Society, help and advice is readily available from the more experienced artists present. Please note visitors are not allowed at practical evenings.

• Social Occasions

  Social 'get-togethers' are held throughout the year. These have ranged from painting outings to quiet luncheon parties to evening functions with entertainment.
