Born and brought up in South Africa. Qualified as an Architect at University of Witwatersrand. Studied oil painting with South African artist Lionel Abrams.   Settled in UK in 1972.  

Interest in drawing and painting continued throughout architectural career in UK and Far East, and re-ignited in earnest on retirement, painting and drawing a variety of subject matter in various media.  

 Exhibited in Croydon, Sutton and Dorking.
