Ken Head, SGFA

A painter in Watercolour, Oil and Acrylic, Ken’s main interest in Fine Art is architectural landscape.    He received training at Twickenham Technical College,after which he became a Graphic Artist in central London, specialising in illustration, photo-retouching and lettering.    He is an expert airbrush artist and, before the advent of computer-simulated airbrush effects, produced a good proportion of the finished artwork for colour-gradated designs used in commercial packaging, such as Benson and Hedges Superkings, Gillette, Johnnie Walker,Typhoo, Dunhill and many others.

Member of The Society of Graphic Fine Art which exhibits at The Menier Gallery, SE1 and other venues countrywide.    He is also a Member of The Armed Forces Society, exhibiting at The Mall Galleries.

He belongs to The Croydon Art Society and has held one-man exhibitions in the South East.    His work also hangs in several Fine Art Galleries.  

He has recently exhibited with:
The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour at The Mall Galleries.
The Royal Society of Marine Artists also at The Mall Galleries
and open exhibitions organised by
The Royal Watercolour Society at The Bankside Gallery.
