Dharmishta Patel

Hi, I'm Dharmishta, a local watercolour artist who paints from the soul. I’ve always been drawn to the kind of art that stirs something deep inside, and my greatest hope is that my work resonates emotionally with those who see it. Every piece I create is an attempt to translate feeling into form—to share a moment, a memory, or a mood that words alone can’t quite capture.

In 2024, I was honoured to receive a Certificate of Merit in Sutton Parks 'Landscape Artist of the Year' Competition for a park scene that felt especially close to my heart. This year I participated again receiving the 'Winner' award for my Grove Park painting.

I have a GCSE art grade A, I am self taught with no formal training but watercolour is my passion outside of work.
