Mandy Gomm

Originally from Yorkshire, I’ve lived in and around Croydon since 1989 and joined Croydon Art Society in May 2022. I have exhibited at Bourne Hall and Denbies.

After doing A level Art at school, I attended Bradford School of Art and was fortunate enough to meet David Hockney on his annual visit to the college. Although I loved Art, life got in the way and I didn’t continue. 

During lockdown my desire to paint was reignited and I regret stopping all those years ago.  I love to paint local landscapes but like to mix it up with portraits and quirky animal scenes occasionally.  I mainly paint in oils, but acrylics and watercolours are sometimes called for depending on the subject matter.Instagram - @mandygommart
